Phase 4: Action
You have made it to the final phase of Wild Treasures, and here is where the Action begins! Congratulations for accomplishing so much to get to this point. It is now time to implement your Action Plan and come up with a creative way to demonstrate that you are taking significant steps to implement your plan to the Wild Treasures Program Director. If you accomplish everything by the deadline, your class will be awarded a Governor's Sustainability Award!
Upcoming Deadlines
Finish Wild Treasures strong by meeting your final deadline:
- The First Friday in June: Schedule a presentation with Wild Treasures Program Director by the first Friday in June in order to creatively demonstrate your action plan and share the evidence of your accomplishments.
1. How do we Creatively Demonstrate our Action Plan?
Start by brainstorming how you want to convince Wild Treasures that you are working hard toward accomplishing your proposal. Your class could create a film, make a PowerPoint presentation, take us on an exciting guided tour of the changes you made in your school, or anything else that's engaging and informative! Make sure you demonstrate these two important points:
1. You have taken significant steps toward implementing your Action Plan
2. You can explain the reasons behind your Action Plan by applying the Core Concepts of Climate Change
